I started making these patterns while doodling, and they evolved into some of my favorite things to draw.  A little bit lace, a little bit gothic, and a little bit modern.  No two are ever alike.

Every spring a family of red tailed hawks moves into the oak tree outside my window.  This piece was based on photos of some of the fledglings.  And, well, the roses and pattern are for fun;)

This was a student piece, and we were simply told by oil painting professor, David Coughtry, to wear a solid-colored shirt to class. We arrived and found out we were painting a still life: tin foil taped to the corkboard.  He had taped 22 pieces up on the wall for us each to work from.  David wanted our shirts to add to our painting, and it created an awesome effect.  My shirt was mint green.
