"Feathers" is part of my Truth Series painted in December 2016. I was contemplating courage, specifically how we gather strength and maintain joy during tumultuous times. This piece references the 91st Psalm: "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." To me the wings are large parrot wings filled with infinite color!
